X-rays or advanced life support procedures can be performed with the K.E.D. Pro in place. Built-in handles enable rescuers to get a firm grip on the patient and the K.E.D. Pro as one unit. The K.E.D. Pro general use load limit is 550 lb, and a load limit of 330 lb for technical rescues including a one-person lift for vertical and confined space rescue.

Scoop EXL Stretcher
The Scoop EXL Stretcher provides superior comfort and safety to patients in need of spinal immobilization. It eliminates the need for log-roll maneuvers, significantly decreasing movement to the patient’s cervical spine and reducing the chance of further injury.
The two-hinged, interlocking pieces adjust for patient height and allow operators to bring the two halves together beneath the patient to gently “scoop” them up. The radiolucent, thermally-treated polymer construction maintains an even temperature for greater patient comfort, and the easy-to-clean surface is impervious to fluids. The Scoop EXL Stretcher “has been found to be as effective as, if not superior to, the standard of care of a rigid long backboard" when used for spinal immobilization.

With a safe working load of 227 kg and adjustable length, the Scoop EXL is capable of carrying a range of patients, from young to old, small to large. When attached to the head-end, foot-end, or at both ends, the TSL Extender accessory allows the Scoop EXL Stretcher to be extended in shape and width to accommodate larger body shapes and sizes.
XT Board

445 Universal Head Immobilizer
The lightweight, easy-to-apply Model 445 Universal Head Immobilizer helps immobilize patients quickly and safely, allowing you to deliver more comfortable and secure care. It features two plastic-coated, closed-cell foam head supports, a universal attachment base, and two durable head straps that conform to the patient’s forehead. Large ear holes allow you to easily monitor the patient. The base plate fits all FERNO backboards (except the NAJO Sports Board). HeadHugger Disposable Head Immobilizer
The HeadHugger provides low-cost head immobilization that is useful in mass casualty accidents or during times when retrieving equipment is difficult. Constructed of lightweight, water-resistant, and radiolucent corrugated plastic, the HeadHugger is dependable for one-time use. Features independent support panels that fold around the patient’s head and are held in place with hook-and-loop fasteners. Side-panel openings allow easy access to the patient’s ears for monitoring.
