Universal Swift Water Rescue Vest
The Universal Swift Water Rescue Life Vest is a high buoyancy (25lbs) USCG approved Type V SAR PFD. The MRV150 was developed with ongoing feedback from the water rescue community and was designed specifically to meet the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) needs of rescue professionals facing the challenges of swift water
With an easy to adjust donning system and layered flotation foam, this vest provides a comfortable and secure fit, which improves operational performance both in and out of the water.
The findings of the On-Water Visibility study, scientifically conducted in 2011 by Mustang Survival, show fluorescent green as the most conspicuous color for a floating target.
As a result of in-water real world testing, the black, fluorescent yellow-green, SOLAS™ tape color blocking as depicted on the MRV150 Universal Swift Water Rescue Life Vest provides excellent appearance and allowed the user to be seen throughout a wide range of light levels in clear and muddy water environments. The extreme color gradients coupled with the high reflectivity of over 62 square inches of SOLAS™ tape make the MRV150 one of the most visible rescue vests available today.
Transcend Stair Chair
The Transcend Stair Chair with POWERTraxx provides maximum safety and power when transporting a patient up or down stairs.
Its electronically-controlled motor, direct drive transmission, and powered tracks push and pull patient loads of up to 550 pounds up and down stairs with ease. The chair and track system carry the weight, increasing patient safety and reducing operator fatigue and risk of injury.
Ranger Chest Harness
The ATOM Chest Harness provides exceptional comfort and versatility for high angle rescues. The ATOM Chest transforms the ATOM Sit Harness or Build Your Own (BYO) ATOM Sit Harness into a full body NFPA Class III Life Safety Harness. This modular unit is quickly and easily assembled for team members who transition from working on the edge to working on the rope. It allows rescuers to utilize the mobility of a sit harness until the comfort and versatility of a full body harness is desired. Use the ATOM Chest when the job calls for hanging on the rope, managing heavy loads, and operating complex rope systems. Compatible with CMC’s Chest Ascender Kit and built with multiple steel attachment points, the ATOM Chest delivers safety, comfort, and next-level versatility for the rope technician.
Pronto Evacuation Harness
Our Pronto Evac Harness was designed for fast ski patroller self-evacuation and for victim rescue from ski lifts. The harness attaches quickly and securely no matter how or where positioned. The colored web and quick-connect buckles make the harness simple and easy to don.
Fire Escape Harness
Designed to be worn during fire ground operations, the Fire Escape Harness uses Kevlar® brand fiber web for high heat and flame resistance and can be worn over bunker pants without compromising firefighter safety. If done with care, the harness can be left on over the pants when they are stored, so it can be donned simultaneously. The new, improved design is one size fits most. The soft connection loop in front stays out of the way when not in use and easily accepts carabiners or large snap hooks.
CMC Rescue recommends using the turnout manufacturer’s approved belt loop and keepers to ensure the harness remains in place when the gear is stored.
