TRS Traverse Rescue Stretcher

The Traverse Rescue Stretcher (TRS) has been designed and constructed for both horizontal and vertical casualty evacuations. The lightweight and compact roll-up design makes this stretcher ideal for high angle and confined space rescue, as well as backcoun-try wilderness and helicopter operations. The wrap-around concept gives the patient a feeling of security and protects arms and sides from further injury during evacuation procedures. The stretcher is constructed using an inner layer made from a tough high density polyethylene sheet, which give the stretcher it’s rigidity when curved around the patient. The outer fabric shell is made using two different materials. The base fabric is a 1350 Denier Cordura nylon with a heavy PU coating, which has been specially woven to be as tough as possible to resist abrasion and cuts.

SKED Basic Rescue System With Cobra Buckles

Skedco now offers the patented AustriAlpin Cobra quick-release buckles on the Sked stretcher. These lightweight aluminum side-release buckles are dependable and strong enough to meet the needs of securing a patient into a Sked stretcher without the danger of breakage. The buckles are rated at 3,000 lbs. and are difficult to release while under tension. By using the Cobra buckle system, you will no longer have to weave the webbing through the buckles when packaging a patient, therefore patient packaging is often done in about half of the time as when using the original steel buckles.

HMH SKED Rescue System

Compact, decontaminable, durable and adaptable, the HMH Sked Stretcher is ideal in mass-casualty and hazardous materials incidents. It can be dragged over virtually any terrain including stairways and can be rapidly deployed by one person. Made of medium-density polyethylene plastic, the HMH Sked withstands high temperatures and is unbreakable as low as 120 degrees Fahrenheit below zero.

Half-SKED Patient Drag

Skedco developed the Half-Sked for extricating patients from spaces too tight or restricted for other stretchers. Ideal for tactical teams that need to secure and rapidly extricate an injured person, the Half-Sked allows rescuers to bend the patient at the hips, allowing greater flexibility to turn corners in caves or confined spaces. It uses two-inch-wide chest and leg straps with side-release buckles to package the patient quickly and securely, particularly valuable if the patient must be immediately evacuated from a high risk area.

Helitack Airbag

The Helitack AirBag is designed for rapid extraction of a subject by means of a single-point suspension from a helicopter by short-haul or hoist evacuation. Constructed from heavy-duty 1,000-denier Cordura nylon for long life and durability in harsh environments.

Helitack Hotseat

The Helitack HotSeat rescue extrication device is designed for rapid transport of a subject by means of helicopter short-hauling or hoisting. The quick-donning device expedites the rescue by securing the subject in a stable semi-seated orientation for evacuation without the need to place them into a harness. The HotSeat adjusts quickly from small juvenile patients to larger persons up to 500 lbs (227 kg). Heavy-duty fabric and construction used for long life and durability in harsh environments.

Pinnacle Confined Space Rescue Litter

The Pinnacle Rescue Litter is the world’s lightest rigid stretcher for confined space rescue. Its narrow design allows for entry into and egress from most confined spaces. Available as One-Piece or Split-Apart.

Traverse Rescue Evacuation Cradle

The Evacuation Cradle is a one size fits all rescue harness, which is simple and easy to put on, even in high stress situations. The cradle design off ers protection and gives a sense of security to the victim. Adjustable strap allows for the adjustment of the resting angle.
