New England Ropes KM III

A superior handling rescue rope, New England Ropes KM III static kernmantle rope features composite construction, with the continuous filament polyester sheath braided over a continuous nylon fiber core. Featuring a weight-balanced construction with the sheath and the core each representing half the total weight, KM III is torque-balanced to eliminate any spin during a rappel. This provides excellent handling and knot-holding characteristics, as well as rugged protection from abrasion and cutting. The polyester sheath provides added protection from ultraviolet light and chemicals harmful to nylon, while reducing the strength loss and weight gain that occurs when nylon absorbs water. Rope is sold by the foot. Please contact customer support for maximum length available.

Static-Pro Lifeline

An extremely low-stretch kernmantle rescue lifeline constructed of 100% High Tenacity Polyester (HTP) fiber. The polyester fibers do not absorb water, so there is no loss of strength or increase in weight if the rope gets wet. With less than 2% stretch at 300 lbf, Static-Pro is an excellent choice for high lines, long rappels, and many mechanical advantage haul systems. Polyester fiber ropes have better resistance to acids than nylon, which makes Static-Pro the preferred choice in acidic environments. Favored for its excellent hand, knotability and UV resistance, Static-Pro Lifelines come in solid colors with a single stripe to prevent confusion with CMC Lifeline and other solid color kernmantle ropes. *Rope is sold by the foot. Please contact customer support for maximum length available.

Flat Web

We’ve been using our one-inch flat web in our rescue classes for several years and it’s proven to be an excellent performer. While not all flat webs will hold knots securely, the CMC Rescue Flat Webbing has been specifically selected for the suppleness necessary to allow knots to be set securely. Flat web also tends to be easier to untie after a heavy load than the softer tubular web. While the flat web is bulkier than the tubular, it does provide a significantly higher strength. Available by the foot or roll. NOTE Industry standards allow for up to three sections per roll.

Tubular Webbing

Mil-Spec Needle Loom Nylon Web After thorough investigation, which included reviewing web construction, manufacturer’s tests, and performing our own field evaluations, it has been determined that the mil-spec needle loom web we now offer is comparable in strength and abrasion resistance to the previous-generation shuttle loom (spiral weave) web. All one-inch web is sold by the foot, with a maximum spool length of 300′. Our red #200203 two-inch web is sold by the 150′ (50-yard) spool. Note: Military standards allow for up to three sections per spool.

AZ Bound-Loop Prusiks

Years of development, testing and fine tuning has made our Prusik cord a preferred choice by rescue schools, agencies and rescuers alike. Our sewn Prusiks offer unmatched performance—with strength equivalent to a tied Prusik loop, just without the cumbersome knot. The factory-sewn SecureStitch is covered with durable clear shrink tubing that allows regular inspection and helps protect the stitching for longer life. Some rescuers prefer a bound-loop style Prusik for cinching the attachment bight around the carabiner to help snug the Prusik to the connector. Our AZ Bound-Loop Prusiks are identical to our Sewn Loop Prusiks except that the shrink tube captures both sides of the loop while allowing adjustment.

Sewn-Loop Prusiks

Years of development, testing and fine tuning has made our Prusik cord a preferred choice by rescue schools, agencies and rescuers alike. Our Sewn-Loop Prusiks offer unmatched performance—with strength equivalent to a tied Prusik loop, just without the cumbersome knot. The factory-sewn SecureStitchTM is covered with durable clear shrink tubing that allows regular inspection and helps protect the stitching for longer life. These loops are produced with our 8mm Prusik cord.

Ladder Line

Our Ladder Line’s spun polyester sheath provides a secure grip with or without gloves, wet or dry. Excellent resistance to UV, rot and mildew extends its service life. Splice or use our Halyard Clamp for easy installation. White with a red tracer. Rope is sold by the foot. Please contact customer support for maximum length available. Essential Gloves

CMC’s Most Durable Rope Rescue and Rope Access Glove
A glove that lets you do it all, the Essential Glove is feature-rich with touch screen compatible fabric and a thumb sweat wipe. This is CMC’s most durable and long-lasting glove. The leather palm protects from heat, moisture, cold, and abrasion; and a second layer reinforces high wear areas to withstand rope work, rappelling, and tool use. Point construction at the finger tips contours the glove around the hand, delivering dexterity through the full range of motion. The fit is further adjusted and securely fastened by a burly Velcro wrist closure over an elastic cuff. The back of the glove is breathable mesh for keeping hands cool and dry. When not in use, the Essential Glove can be clipped to harnesses and packs through the carabiner hole in the wrist cuff. The Essential Glove lets you do more with your gloves on, minimizing distractions, delays, and exposure at the job site.

Rappel Gloves

Outstanding hand protection meets dexterity in our Rappel Gloves. Wear them to tie knots and work with hardware, set up a system or to rappel. Pittard’s Armor-Tan leather and unique Kevlar® brand fiber stitching combine for unparalleled durability. A double layer at the thumb web protects hands when rappelling, and the wear-resistant double palm guards against heat, moisture, cold, and abrasion. Its second anatomically segmented layer eases grip fatigue. The back is equally detailed: spandex ventilates and delivers flexibility and comfort, while elastic at the wrist provides a secure fit. When not in use, these gloves can hang on harness gear loops using the carabiner loops sewn into the wrist. Space on the label allows for user’s name or initials.
