AZTEK Pro Series LT System

Originally developed by Reed Thorne of Arizona-based Ropes That Rescue, the AZTEK (Arizona Technician’s Edge Kit) is used globally and offers more than 100 rigging solutions in a bag. As one of the most versatile tools used in rope rescue, the system reflects the philosophy of keeping rigging equipment simple, efficient, non-specialized, light and small. The design of the CMC AZTEK ProSeries LT System (Load Tender) leaves no detail ignored. The more compact ‘LT’ version of the AZTEK offers 28 feet of 8 mm AZTEK ProSeries Cord that can extend the set-of-fours up to 6 feet, providing a 4:1 or 5:1 mechanical advantage with a minimum breaking strength (MBS) of 38 kN (8,542 lbf). The LT system includes (2) ProTech Aluminum Auto-Lock Carabiners w/ removable keeper pin – 29 kN (6,519 lbf) for attaching to the swivel ends. (Note: Included carabiners must be installed by the user and are UL Classified to NFPA 1983 – Technical Use)

AZTEK Proseries System

UL Classified to NFPA 1983 (2012 ED) – General Use Originally developed by Reed Thorne of Arizona-based Ropes That Rescue, the AZTEK (Arizona Technician’s Edge Kit) is used in worldwide and offers more than 100 rigging solutions in a single bag. As one of the most versatile tools used in rope rescue, the system reflects the philosophy of keeping rigging equipment simple, efficient, non-specialized, light and small. The subsequent design of the new CMC Rescue AZTEK ProSeries System leaves no detail ignored. Each component — from the cord to the pack — was thoroughly tested and proven to work efficiently in this multifunctional system that comes completely pre-rigged for immediate deployment to the field. The CMC Rescue AZTEK ProSeries System was the first AZTEK system to be UL Classified to NFPA 1983 (2012 ED) – General Use, Manufactured System.

CMC Lifeline

Featuring the optimum balance of strength, handling, and durability with minimum sheath slippage, this 100% nylon kernmantle rescue rope offers excellent knotability and provides a high level of control when used with a descent control device. The industry standard for those who prefer traditional nylon ropes, CMC Lifeline is a great choice whether you are a firefighter on a high-rise, performing a high-angle mountain rescue, responding to an industrial accident, or a tactical officer on rappel. Rope is sold by the foot. Please contact customer support for maximum length available.

CMC G11 Lifeline

Introducing the first NFPA, G-rated 11 mm rope, made from traditional fibers. This low-stretch Kernmantle rope constructed with a polyester sheath and nylon core offers maximum strength in a lightweight and easy to handle rope. G11™ Lifeline is ideal for rope rescue and rope access operations providing enhanced safety, performance and superior knotability. G11 is constructed with 32 carrier, tandem bobbin, sheath braiding that is optimized for high strength, reduced diameter, and minimal elongation.

New England River Rescue Rope

A Rescue System Rope That Floats Intended for high-load applications that normally call for a lifeline, but also require a rope that floats, our New England River Rescue Rope is compatible with Prusik hitches, ascenders, pulleys, and other rescue hardware. Its core is polyolefin covered with a tough, abrasion-resistant nylon sheath. Rope is sold by the foot. Please contact customer support for maximum length available.
Throwlines: A Safe Choice A throwline bag is the safest way to reach a subject in fast-moving or still water. It provides a downstream safety backup when rescuers must enter the water. Throwbags should be kept in patrol cars, ambulances, and other emergency response vehicles.

New England Ropes KM III

A superior handling rescue rope, New England Ropes KM III static kernmantle rope features composite construction, with the continuous filament polyester sheath braided over a continuous nylon fiber core. Featuring a weight-balanced construction with the sheath and the core each representing half the total weight, KM III is torque-balanced to eliminate any spin during a rappel. This provides excellent handling and knot-holding characteristics, as well as rugged protection from abrasion and cutting. The polyester sheath provides added protection from ultraviolet light and chemicals harmful to nylon, while reducing the strength loss and weight gain that occurs when nylon absorbs water. Rope is sold by the foot. Please contact customer support for maximum length available.

Static-Pro Lifeline

An extremely low-stretch kernmantle rescue lifeline constructed of 100% High Tenacity Polyester (HTP) fiber. The polyester fibers do not absorb water, so there is no loss of strength or increase in weight if the rope gets wet. With less than 2% stretch at 300 lbf, Static-Pro is an excellent choice for high lines, long rappels, and many mechanical advantage haul systems. Polyester fiber ropes have better resistance to acids than nylon, which makes Static-Pro the preferred choice in acidic environments. Favored for its excellent hand, knotability and UV resistance, Static-Pro Lifelines come in solid colors with a single stripe to prevent confusion with CMC Lifeline and other solid color kernmantle ropes. *Rope is sold by the foot. Please contact customer support for maximum length available.

Flat Web

We’ve been using our one-inch flat web in our rescue classes for several years and it’s proven to be an excellent performer. While not all flat webs will hold knots securely, the CMC Rescue Flat Webbing has been specifically selected for the suppleness necessary to allow knots to be set securely. Flat web also tends to be easier to untie after a heavy load than the softer tubular web. While the flat web is bulkier than the tubular, it does provide a significantly higher strength. Available by the foot or roll. NOTE Industry standards allow for up to three sections per roll.
