Universal Swift Water Rescue Vest

The Universal Swift Water Rescue Life Vest is a high buoyancy (25lbs) USCG approved Type V SAR PFD. The MRV150 was developed with ongoing feedback from the water rescue community and was designed specifically to meet the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) needs of rescue professionals facing the challenges of swift water With an easy to adjust donning system and layered flotation foam, this vest provides a comfortable and secure fit, which improves operational performance both in and out of the water. The findings of the On-Water Visibility study, scientifically conducted in 2011 by Mustang Survival, show fluorescent green as the most conspicuous color for a floating target. As a result of in-water real world testing, the black, fluorescent yellow-green, SOLAS™ tape color blocking as depicted on the MRV150 Universal Swift Water Rescue Life Vest provides excellent appearance and allowed the user to be seen throughout a wide range of light levels in clear and muddy water environments. The extreme color gradients coupled with the high reflectivity of over 62 square inches of SOLAS™ tape make the MRV150 one of the most visible rescue vests available today.

This versatility allows rescuers to adapt to any situation they may encounter on the rescue scene. The ergonomic handle and integrated brake allow for comfortably controlled descent. Shifting from lowering position to hauling position is immediate, without the need to transfer the load. The integrated progress-capture pulley has a large diameter sheave mounted on sealed ball bearings, ensuring excellent hauling efficiency. The AUTO-LOCK system automatically locks the rope when the handle is not in use. Once locked, the rope can be taken up without having to manipulate the handle. The MAESTRO L descender is compatible with 12.5 to 13 mm ropes and allows handling of loads up to 280 kg. The MAESTRO S descender is compatible with 10.5 to 11.5 mm ropes and allows handling of loads up to 250 kg.

MPD (Multi-Purpose Device)

The MPD allows you to go from lowering to raising without changing hardware. More than nine years of research and development went into the patented Multi-Purpose Device (MPD), which features major innovations in advanced technical hardware for rope rescue professionals. The MPD’s high-efficiency pulley, with an integral rope-grab mechanism, allows it to be used as a lowering device on the main line and belay line systems and be quickly changed over to a raising system without switching out or replacing hardware. The combination of essential features into a single device simplifies on-scene rigging, expediting the rescue.

PETZL ASAP Mobile Fall Arrester

The ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester is designed to facilitate handling during rope ascents. In normal use, the device moves freely along the rope without any manual intervention and follows the user in all his/her movements. In the event of a shock load or sudden acceleration, the fall arrester locks on the rope and stops the user. The integrated locking function allows the user to immobilize the device in order to reduce the potential fall distance. The connection arm makes the system drop-resistant when passing intermediate anchors. The ASAP LOCK is used with an ASAP’SORBER or ASAP’SORBER AXESS energy absorber to work at a distance from the rope.

ProSeries Aluminum Key-Lock Carabiners

The Most Advanced General-Use Rescue Carabiner on the Market. Combining high performance with minimum weight, these carabiners significantly reduce the weight of a rescuer’s gear while maintaining the highest possible margin of safety. The patented key-lock design eliminates snagging when removing the carabiner from your harness, and a redesigned gate provides a full 1.1 inch (28 mm) opening on the standard size version and a 2.1 inch (53 mm) opening on the XL version. Gate choices include the traditional Screw-Lock, our easy-to-open-with-one-hand Auto-Lock and our innovative Manual-Lock. Both of the XL carabiners have a removable keeper pin.

Protech Aluminum Key-Lock Carabiners

Patented NFPA 1983 2012 Edition Ideal for rescue and rope access, this anodized carabiner’s patented key-lock design does not hang up when unclipping from your harness or web. An optimized D-shape maximizes its strength, and its wide gate opening fits over 1-inch (25 mm) diameter railings, unusual for a carabiner this compact and light. Safety indicators etched on the gate augment easy one-hand operation. Manual-Lock and Auto-Lock versions are available with a removable keeper pin for use with lanyards or for terminating escape or RIT lines. Every carabiner is proof loaded. Serial numbers on every carabiner.
