SRT Throwline Bag Set

This set features our SRT Throwline, a multi-use water rescue line, in several lengths and types of bags. The handle makes for easy and accurate throwing and has a quick-release buckle to attach the bag to a boat or PFD. The pack cloth and mesh bags both have an Ethafoam disk for added flotation. The unique EZ-Stuff bag has integral flotation, a side grommet, and a reflective stripe.

NFPA Throwline

Designed to meet the NFPA 1983 specification for a floating water rescue throwline, our NFPA Throwline, made with a Dyneema core and polypropylene sheath, handles extremely well. The bright yellow color is highly visible.

SKED-EVAC Tripod Carrying Case

Vinyl transport bag for storing and carrying your SKED-EVAC® Tripod (SK-700). Features heavy duty vinyl coated nylon material and an extra long zipper along it’s full length and across it’s ends to facilitate easy repackaging. It has a pocket inside in the center to store the bag of chain which comes with the tripod, preventing the chain from sliding to one end when the tripod is carried. There are handles in the center and on each end of the bag. This bag has a 9″ diameter and a 7’1″ length, and will make nearly any brand of tripod easier to carry.

Throwlines: A Safe Choice A throwline bag is the safest way to reach a subject in fast-moving or still water. It provides a downstream safety backup when rescuers must enter the water. Throwbags should be kept in patrol cars, ambulances, and other emergency response vehicles.

Steel Locking D Carabiners

Our Steel Locking D Carabiners are proven workhorses for rescue and rope access applications. Certified to NFPA – General Use, these carabiners are available in both Screw-lock and Auto-lock gate models that feature an improved key-lock nose to prevent snagging while loading or unloading. These standard-sized carabiners can be easily opened with one hand with a gate opening wide enough to fit over most litter rails. Heat-treated and built to exacting standards, every carabiner is proof loaded.

Reflective Rit Line

We’ve improved the already high visibility of our Technora and polyester RIT Line by adding a strand of highly reflective 3M tape. The Technora strands provide high strength in adverse conditions. The line is supple enough to pack easily, but firm enough to feel against the floor when following it in low-visibility conditions when wearing gloves. Technora chars at 900° F (482° C). Polyester melts at 480° F (249° C). Rope is sold by the foot. Please contact Customer Support for maximum length available.

SKED-EVAC Aluminum Cobra Buckle Conversion Kit

Skedco now offers a complete conversion kit that includes six patented AustriAlpin Cobra™ quick release buckles.  These lightweight aluminum side-release buckles are dependable and strong enough to meet the needs of securing a patient into a Sked® stretcher without the danger of breakage. The buckles are rated at 3,000 lbs. and are difficult to release while under tension. By using the Cobra buckle system, you will no longer have to weave the webbing through the buckles when packaging a patient, therefore patient packaging is often done in about half of the time as when using the original steel buckles. The Cobra buckle straps girth-hitch onto the Sked stretcher for quick and easy installation.

SKEDCO Oregon Spine Splint II

Developed by Skedco for use with the Sked Stretcher, the OSS II fits inside a rolled up stretcher. Skedco states “the OSS II is the safest, most effective vest-type extrication and immobilization device available today.” Includes a shoulder board that prevents compression of a patient in a Sked stretcher. Excellent immobilization of the head and cervical spine, and when used with the Sked, functions as a long spine board. Built to last under rugged conditions. Can be cleaned with common bleach solutions. X-ray translucent. Instructions included.

PMI Bokat Rope Washer

The plastic body clamps over the rope and cleans it with a combination of water pressure and brushing action. The inside is lined with AstroTurf®, which scrubs the rope as it is pulled though the washer. The PVC housing is made with a flexible vinyl hinge co-extruded for longevity. Rope I.D. Markers

Write, type, or stamp information on the 3/4 x 1-in (19 x 25 mm) white area. The clear self-laminating portion wraps around to protect writing. Works on rope up to 5/8-in (16 mm) diameter. Whip-End Dip Rope Sealer

Designed to seal the end of a rope to prevent fraying or unraveling, Whip-End Dip’s water-based formula is environmentally friendly and easy to clean up. On rescue rope, the clear formula is used to seal the Rope I.D. Marker or other rope-end identification.
